Heflin, AL — Car enthusiasts and families alike are invited to Fireworks City on Saturday, May 10, 2025, for the Abernathy Volunteer Fire Department’s Annual Car and Truck Show. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., just off I-20 at Exit 210, and promises a day full of fun, food, and community spirit.
Open to all years, makes, and models, the judged show will feature a wide variety of vehicles with awards presented to the top three entries in each class. Additional honors will include Best of Show and the People’s Choice award. Whether you’re showcasing a classic muscle car, a custom truck, or simply attending to admire the displays, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to the car show, attendees can look forward to local vendors, delicious food and drinks, and door prizes throughout the day. The entry fee for participants is $20, payable on the day of the event.
Hosted by the Abernathy Volunteer Fire Department, the event serves as a fundraiser supporting the department’s ongoing operations and community services.
