RANBURNE, AL —The Benefit Yard Sale for Pinhoti Animal Rescue, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 17th at Ranburne First Baptist Church, has been canceled. Organizers have not yet announced a rescheduled date.
The event was set to raise funds to support Pinhoti Animal Rescue’s ongoing efforts to provide spay and neuter services, vaccinations, and rabies shots for dogs and cats in need. Community members had been encouraged to stop by and browse a wide selection of donated items, with all proceeds intended to benefit the rescue’s mission.
The event had drawn support from several local animal advocates and volunteers, including Frank David Emanuel, Mercedes Acosta Emanuel, Billie Hardwick Ward, Melissa Faye Christopher, Theresa Murphy, Leah Morgan, Staci Boatfield, and Melissa Thompson Green.
