HEFLIN, Ala. – The Kiwanis Club of Cleburne County is gearing up for its 4th Annual Shrimp Boil & Silent Auction, scheduled for Saturday, June 21, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Heflin Recreation Center. The event serves as a major fundraiser to help provide new shoes and back-to-school support for children in Cleburne County.
Guests can enjoy a hearty shrimp boil meal, bid on a wide selection of silent auction items, and enjoy live music performed by local artist Reese Burke. Tickets are $25 each, and all proceeds directly benefit local youth. Ticket sales will close on Monday, June 9.
“The Shrimp Boil has become a much-anticipated community tradition,” said event organizers. “It’s more than just a meal — it’s an opportunity for people to come together and help ensure local children begin the school year with confidence.”
The Kiwanis Club is still seeking additional sponsors and volunteers to support the event’s success. Those interested in helping can visit the club’s website or contact organizers through social media.
