Cleburne County, AL – The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Department extended its gratitude on Tuesday to several partnering agencies after a hiker in distress was safely rescued from the Pinhoti Trail earlier in the day.
The operation, which required quick coordination and specialized resources, involved support from Cleburne 911, ALEA Aviation, Oxford EMS, the Lineville Police Department, and the Clay County Rescue Squad. Their combined efforts led to the hiker being safely located, removed from the trail, and transported for medical care.
