RANBURNE, AL — Carpenters for Christ (CFC), a volunteer ministry group dedicated to building churches across the country, will mark its 50th anniversary with a special construction event in Ranburne, Alabama. From May 23 through May 30, 2025, volunteers from across the Southeast and beyond will gather daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church to take part in this milestone build.
Founded in 1975, Carpenters for Christ is a non-profit organization made up of Christian men who offer their time, tools, and talents to serve churches in need of new buildings or major renovations. Known for their efficient, framing-focused work, CFC has left its mark on countless congregations throughout the U.S., all at no cost to the churches they serve.
“This will be our 50th anniversary, and we can’t wait to see you there!” organizers shared. “We’re a group of men striving to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, and this is a celebration of service, faith, and community.”
Volunteers are encouraged to join the team, whether seasoned builders or first-time helpers. The organization emphasizes spiritual impact as much as construction work, offering fellowship, prayer, and purpose alongside hammers and nails. As noted on their website, “For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God” (Hebrews 3:4).
Interested individuals can visit www.carpentersforchrist1975.com to explore the Current Project page, learn more about the event, and commit to participating. Supporters can also contribute through prayer or donations, helping ensure the continued success of Carpenters for Christ’s ministry.
The 2025 build at Mountain View Baptist Church promises to be not only a powerful construction effort but also a meaningful celebration of five decades of faithful service.
