Heflin, AL — Sheriff Jon Daniel, Deputy Sheriff Patrick Nolen, and members of the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Department spent time at FirstBank in Heflin this week meeting with residents and business owners to share updates on the department’s work and listen to public concerns.
The event served as a community listening session—part of a growing initiative by the Sheriff’s Department to engage directly with the public across the county. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about current programs, recent accomplishments, and plans for future outreach and public safety efforts.
“It was a great opportunity to meet with residents and business owners in Heflin and to share with them what we have accomplished these last few years,” said Sheriff Jon Daniel. “We would like to have these listening sessions all over the county.”
The Sheriff’s Department emphasized its commitment to transparency, communication, and building trust with the communities it serves. The informal setting allowed for open dialogue between law enforcement and citizens—a step toward strengthening partnerships and addressing local concerns.
