Montgomery, AL – Go Build Alabama has launched an updated Training Page aimed at expanding access to skilled trades education and helping to close workforce gaps across the state.
The revised platform offers a more user-friendly directory of training opportunities, including high school career technical programs, apprenticeships, college pathways, and industry-specific certifications. Users can filter options by trade, region, and program type to better align education paths with their individual goals.
The update also highlights grant-funded training supported by the Alabama Construction Industry Craft Training Board (CICT), which provides opportunities at a discounted rate. By organizing a wide range of programs in one centralized hub, Go Build Alabama seeks to connect individuals more efficiently with the commercial construction industry’s evolving workforce needs.
Designed to evolve over time, the updated Training Page will continue to add new programs and opportunities. Go Build Alabama officials hope the platform will become a primary destination for those seeking education in skilled trades across the state.
Created in 2009, Go Build Alabama is an initiative of the Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute. The campaign’s mission is to educate young people about the value of learning a trade and to encourage careers in the construction industry.
