Anniston, AL – Joe Weaver, Chief Administrative Officer for the RMC Health System, has been named to the Board of Trustees of the Alabama Hospital Association (AlaHA), representing the Northeast Regional Council. His appointment was confirmed during the Association’s recent annual meeting.
Weaver brings over two decades of healthcare leadership experience to the Board. Since joining RMC in 2009 as Chief Operating Officer, he has served as CEO of RMC Jacksonville and now oversees clinical and operational performance across the system in his current role. His responsibilities include leading strategic initiatives focused on expanding access and enhancing the quality of care.
Before joining RMC, Weaver held financial and executive roles in hospitals across multiple states, including serving as CEO of a facility in Canton, Mississippi. He began his healthcare career as an Assistant Chief Financial Officer and has since transitioned into operations leadership.
Weaver has been an active contributor within AlaHA, having chaired the Workforce Taskforce and participated in key committees such as the By-Laws Committee, State Regulatory Committee, Finance Committee, Federal Legislative Committee, and Education Task Force.
The Alabama Hospital Association, established in 1921, represents hospitals and health systems statewide, providing advocacy, education, and support to improve healthcare delivery across the state.
