The parade will take place on Friday, July 4, 2025, during the Freedom Festival at Oxford Lake Park.
Parade registration starts at 8:30 AM in the baseball parking lot at Oxford Lake Park. The parade will begin at 9:00 AM, proceeding down McCullars Lane and concluding at Liberty Park under the green dome. The parade ends just in time for the Official Opening Ceremonies of the Freedom Festival.
Participants are encouraged to wear patriotic attire and may ride in non-motorized vehicles such as wagons, strollers, tricycles, and bicycles. Helmets are required for children riding bicycles or tricycles.
***NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES THAT ARE GASOLINE/BATTERY-POWERED ALLOWED!***
Most children who participate will receive ribbons in a variety of categories.
